just to let you know that I'm still alive...
We traveled Ohio, Kentucky and are in Tennessee now. Have been to Mammoth Cave, which was wonderful and cool! Like in many places the weather is hot, sticky hot. Nashville and Paducah were lovely places to visit, I've seen quite some quilts this trip: in the National Quilt Museum, at Helene Davis' studio and there was a Gee's Bend Quilt exhibit in Nashville! This was it for today, hope Panera's wifi will let me upload this post...

I was so excited to see your comment. Also-it's fun to hear of your vacation in the U.S. Lake Erie is near the place where I grew up in Ohio, we went camping there every Summer.
Nice to read about your trip...I remember the caves...so cool from a hot day! Have fun!
