this weekend there's a medieval festival in the neighboring village of Teulada;
at the beginning of the evening lots of people, villagers and tourists, gather in the narrow streets and alleys

to look at the spectacular show with falcons...
this awesome bird of prey flew right above the audience, back and force at the commands of its owner;
it was quite a sensation and yes, a bit scary too!
there was food, of course; medieval bbq, moroccan food, people were sitting at simple, large tables;
this ugly, lovely door I could not hold back from my blog; we came along it on our way back to the car. Isn't it great?!
the streets were full with stands; home made cheese, old professions, a lot more
and oh of course: jewelry...
this little chapel was built around 1400. There were quite a lot of very old buildings in Teulada.
While we normally drive through main street on our way home, I never visited the antic village. Now I know there is enough reason to go back and walk around, and shoot pictures. When it is quiet, when the Medieval fiesta is over!
