Coastal walk

Today I want to show some pictures of yesterday's walk along the coast.
We live very close to the sea and our walk started at one of the lovely 'chirinquito's, which more or less means 'summertime' restaurant

In the middle on the left you can see Cap d'Or.
It has a very old, little tower on top and is said to have been part of a defense line all along the Mediterranean coast

though the water is cooling down quickly after this week's heavy rainfall, there were a few (older!) people swimming!

just around the corner of the little pebble beach,
we discovered this stretch of rocks.
There's a natural pool that I will surely explore next summer..

the sea might constantly want to get one's attention,
but look what is visible when you look down!

the lines have been formed of a kind of marble material,
at least it had the same gleaming shine (which the picture sadly does not show)

we left the beach and on our way back I spotted this lovely vacation villa
. Hmm, looks like a lovely place to spend the summer...

one last glimpse of the coast through the pine trees

and almost home, back in our street,
a final piece of old, forgotten beauty

That's it, my eye candy of yesterday's walk

Wishing you a great weekend!

Regina
