Experiment

Framed driftwood
This morning I discovered a group on Flickr, of which the members develop this kind of old-fashioned frames to enhance your pictures. The group is called Through The Viewfinder and the name refers to pictures that seem to be shot by an old camera, whereas in reality you use a digital one. In short you layer the frame of your choice over a picture that you opened in PS first, after which you play around with the opacity and blending options in the Layer menu. My frame was black, but the blending option I chose made it turn out turquoise.
Given my love of that colour, I simply had to leave it that way!!
Playing with the 200+ frames is fun, you can use them for free and you can find them here
