if this lovely island style house, that is very rare here on Sint Maarten
will be destroyed, just to build another fancy appartmentbuilding that we don't need? This already overdeveloped Dutch side of the island,
where sometimes you feel right down in Las Vegas??
With huge building projects that has 'used up' complete hills, and will not be finished at all now the global economy is in heavy weather.. and already so many hotelrooms that remain vacant...
tell me, wouldn't it be a pity?

Thank you for the lovely comment about my tulips! I had fun with the painting this time-no struggling. Now, I will move on and get serious about writing in my journal lol.
The building in your post is beautiful! I agree, it would be terrible to destroy an older, perfectly good building just to build something 'newer'.

Yes! It would be a pity. We need to be more honoring of our past and slow down the construction of new mega buildings.
