It took one day flying to get there, but was very much worth it.
Our three days in New Mexico have been fantastic!!
Driving in our new Roadtrek motorhome we saw this amazing, empty landscape, where there was still snow on the mountains... cold for Caribbean folks, but so very beautiful
We had a wonderful time in Santa Fe, where we were treated on a sightseeing tour in the old, historic center. This city is chockfull of art and galleries, we also met some great people there and we will certainly go back there this summer
The adobe style is mandatory in Santa Fe and surrounding areas.from a distance the houses and pueblo's almost seem to disappear in the landscape
and wherever you go, unless you see it: there is inspiration around. This copper inlay motive is one of many I noticed in the transit area of Miami International Airport, on our way home, back to the Caribbean waters, with it's shells, corall, urchins and fishes.
Now I've got to unpack our suitcases and hope to get back in the creative mode soon
See ya!!!

Santa Fe is one of my very favorite places. I hope you find your way to the Northwest in your RV!!
